FAQ
Questions about the meter.
Do failed or replayed events count?
No. Events rejected by schema checks and duplicates removed by exactly-once delivery are never metered.
How are CDC updates counted?
Each row change is one event, whether it is an insert, an update or a delete. Snapshots during setup are free.
Can I change plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades apply at once and are prorated by day. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
What does Enterprise usually cost?
Most Enterprise agreements start around $3,000 a month and include volume rates, dedicated cells and a named engineer.
Do nonprofits and open-source projects get a discount?
Yes. Registered nonprofits and maintainers of open-source projects get Scale at half price. Write to sales to apply.
