FAQ
Before you apply.
Do I need to know Rust to join engineering?
No. The storage engine is Rust and the control plane is Go, and most people learn one of them here. We care more about how you reason about distributed systems.
Can I work from anywhere?
Anywhere between GMT-3 and GMT+3 for remote roles, so every team shares at least four working hours. Go-to-market roles in New York work from the office three days a week.
Is the paid project really paid?
Yes. You invoice €400 for four hours of work, and we pay within seven days whether or not we make an offer. The code stays yours.
I do not see my role. Should I still write?
Please do. Send a short note and a link to something you built. We read every message and reply within two weeks.
